Linux handheld LDS Scripture software - 2007/08/12 20:43
I just finished writing scripture software for Linux based handheld devices like the Nokia n800 http://web.nseries.com/products/n800/ or 770.
It's free, open-source and includes a Python utility for downloading the LDS scripture set directly from lds.org.
Sure, reading the scriptures and other documents was nice on my iPAQ, but now that I've got an 800x480 resolution screen in the palm of my hand that includes integrated wireless, bluetooth and a webcam. It's barely larger than my iPAQ and gives me days of use before needing a recharge, I'll never go back!
